Bank Central Asia to pay out interim dividend of IDR 42.5 per share
JAKARTA. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), the bank with the largest market capitalization, will distribute an interim dividend of IDR 5.23 trillion or IDR 42.5 per share.
BBCA management conveyed this plan in accordance with the decision of the company's board of directors. "It was approved by the board of commissioners on November 15, 2023," wrote BBCA Management, in its official statement.
BBCA's interim dividend will be distributed to shareholders whose names are recorded in the shareholder register on December 5, 2023. The next interim dividend payment will be made on December 20, 2023.
According to idnfinancials.com data, BBCA recorded a net profit of IDR 36.42 trillion as of September 30 2023. Apart from that, the company also had a retained earnings balance of IDR 213.19 trillion and total equity of IDR 235.93 trillion.
Currently, 54.94% of BBCA shares are controlled by PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan. Public investors own 44.92% and a small portion is owned by a number of individuals, with a share ownership portion of under 1%. (KR/LM)
