Credit up by 2.4% yoy, PermataBank eyes productive segment
JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI), well known as PermataBank, reported credit distribution growth of 2.4% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 138.9 trillion by the end of September 2023.
“This credit growth is supported by corporate and housing ownership credits,” Rudy Basyir Ahmad, Director of Finance of PermataBank, explained in the Public Expose of PermataBank 2023 today (23/11).
According to the official release, at the end of September 2023, PermataBank is said to have promoted various products and services aimed for MSME and corporates.
Align with this issue, Djumariah Tenteram, Director of Retail Banking of BNLI, mentioned that credit distribution trend of PermataBank will shift to productive credit. “Our credits are mostly supported by consumer loans, but next year, we will reinforce productive loan,” she added.
However, PermataBank manages to attain across-the-board development. “Our projection is for the next year, all segments will grow, particularly retail or consumer credit and commercial credit,” said Ahmad.
Until the end of September 2023, BNLI reported non-performing loan (NPL) ratio decreasing from 3.1% to 2.9%, with capital adequacy ratio (CAR) that shot up 6.02% yoy to 39.4% at the end of this third quarter. (ZH)
