Alim Investindo's stake is now 13.89% due to the rights issue by Bank Maspion
JAKARTA - Following the implementation of the right issue by the banking firm PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS), PT Alim Investindo's share ownership of BMAS ended at 13.89% on Friday, November 17. The drop in the percentage of share ownership was caused by an increase in the number of shares circulating on the market that was not followed by another share purchase by this investor, also known as stock dilution. Foreign investor Kasikorn Vision Financial Company Pte Ltd, on the other hand, added 3.05 billion shares of BMAS shares to gain 81.10% control of the banking company.
PT Damai Investama Sukses purchased 67.20 million shares of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) in the construction and mining vehicle rental sector. Furthermore, PT Abadi Kreasi Unggul Nusantara bought 11.07 million shares of telecommunications services firm PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET), followed by Sabana Prawirawidjaja, the company's president, who purchased 1.57 million shares of beverage company PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ).
CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based foreign investor, then acquired and sold shares in both issuers at the same time. The investor was observed purchasing 10 million shares of mining services business PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) and selling 4.72 million shares of hotel property development company PT Indonesian Paradise Property Tbk (INPP).
Furthermore, PT Teladan Resources sold 453.62 million shares of the palm oil plantation and manufacturing company, PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN). GOTO Peopleverse Fund also sold shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Finally, PT Monjess Investama released 15 million shares of PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT), a telecommunications product distributor. (KD)
