JAKARTA - On Tuesday, November 21, foreigners sold 1.39 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and bought around 1 billion shares, for a net volume of -394.30 million shares. This figure bumped foreign net volume, which ended the day at -435.35 billion shares. Meanwhile, 2.78 billion shares were sold by foreigners, while 2.34 billion shares were bought.

The share sale then continued in two banking companies, namely PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI). Foreign investors were seen selling 92.99 million BBCA shares with a net volume of -55.70 million shares, followed by 81.02 million BBRI shares, resulting in a net volume of -29.23 million shares. A total of 63.23 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) coal mining company were also sold, for a net volume of -44.83 million shares. Shares in the construction and infrastructure sectors of PT Jaya Solusi Manggala Pratama Tbk (JKON) were then sold for 26.48 million shares, with a net volume of nearly -25 million shares.

Meanwhile, with a net volume of 64.59 million shares, the purchase of 91.40 million shares of telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) ranked first on the top buy list. Foreign investors also bought up to 100.80 million shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) in the banking sector for a net volume of 22.68 million shares. 20.22 million shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) were purchased in the port and maritime services sector, for a net volume of 19.51 million shares. Finally, shares of the mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and the petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were both purchased for nearly 40 million shares, with BRMS's net volume recorded at 17.32 million shares and BRPT's at 16.50 million shares.
