JAKARTA - On Thursday, November 23, foreign investors purchased 3.74 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in a net volume of 1.82 billion shares. This transaction significantly contributed to the total foreign buying volume of 5.52 billion shares, and net foreign managed to pierce the range of 2.03 billion shares. Aside from that, foreign sales volume was approximately 3.48 billion shares.

Following that, shares in two state-owned banks, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), were also purchased. Foreign investors bought 139.02 million BBRI shares with a net volume of 63.56 million shares, followed by 71 million BBNI shares, which resulted in a net volume of 21.54 million shares. In addition, about 37.85 million shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) in the port and maritime services sector were bought, for a net volume of 27.87 million shares. The last share acquisition was for 63.84 million shares in the metal and mineral mining firm held by PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), with a net volume of 23.41 million shares.

Meanwhile, on the top-selling list, the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) takes first place with 53.43 million shares sold and just slightly under 3 million shares purchased, for a net volume of -50.45 million shares. Furthermore, foreign investors sold shares in the coal mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) as well as shares in its subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS), in the mineral mining business. Approximately 66.99 million BUMI shares were sold, resulting in a net volume of -41.48 million shares, while 82.99 million BRMS shares were sold, resulting in a net volume of -32.30 million shares.

E-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares were then sold for 64.18 million shares, with a net volume of roughly -38.21 million shares. Finally, foreign investors sold 51.05 million shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), a television company, for a net volume of -19.27 million shares. (KD)
