JAKARTA. PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR), a cement producer controlled by the Indonesian Government, has distributed a capital injection of IDR 74.25 billion to one of its subsidiaries, namely PT Sinergi Mitra Investama (SMI).

Vita Mahreyni, Corporate Secretary of SMGR, said that the capital injection was given in order to increase SMI's issued and paid-up capital. In this capital increase, the company took part in all new shares issued by SMI.

All new shares issued by SMI totaled 7,345 shares. Each share is priced at a deposit price of IDR 10.1 million.

According to idnfinancials.com data, SMI is a subsidiary of SMGR which has been running a building rental business and has been operating since 2012. As of September 30, 2023, SMI's total assets before elimination were recorded at IDR 303.34 billion.

Meanwhile, SMGR's cash and cash equivalents as of September 30, 2023 were recorded at IDR 5.87 trillion. Meanwhile, the total equity is IDR 47.2 trillion. (KR/LM)
