PPRO teams up with Voltron to establish electric vehicle charging stations
JAKARTA. PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PPRO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Exelly Elektrik Indonesia (Voltron) to establish a number of electric vehicle chargers.
In the memorandum of understanding, Voltron will provide Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in a number of projects owned by PPRO. Some of the locations chosen for SPKLU are in area and apartment complexes owned or developed by PPRO.
Some of them include Grand Kamala Lagoon Bekasi, Gunung Putri Square Bogor, The Ayoma Apartment Serpong, Evenciio Apartment Depok, Amartha View and The Alton Apartment Semarang, Grand Sungkono Lagoon, Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon and Pavilion Permata Surabaya, and Begawan Apartment Malang.
Daniel Rinsani, President Director of PPRO, said that the SPKLU facility will provide added value to a number of stakeholders and communities in need. "The implementation of SPKLU also supports the green development program launched by the government and PPRO," said Rinsani, in his official statement.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rahman Elly, Founder & CEO of Voltron, said that the trend of electric vehicles in Indonesia is currently growing. This increases Voltron's enthusiasm to continue building charging stations. (KR/LM)
