NUSA DUA – Tempo and IDNFinancials Indeks 52 once again synergise to introduce The Best CEO 2023. It is an appreciation from a national media platform to Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of publicly listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that are deemed successful in managing the company until today.

The appreciation is intended as trust and motivation conveyed from one of the stakeholders to the top leaders of publicly listed companies in the capital market. The trust in question is addressed to CEOs of issuers that have shown their best performance in attaining performance growth and increasing company value or market capitalisation in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from COVID-19 pandemic until today.

The Best CEO Awards 2023 took place last Friday (1/12) at Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Bali. The event is opened with a panel discussion with the title “Towards Indonesia Emas 2045” featuring keynote speakers, shown in videos, such as Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of People’s Consultative Assembly (Ketua MPR), and Mahendra Siregar, Chief of Financial Services Authority (OJK).

The talk show features notable speakers, such as Dr. Ferry Irawan, SE, M.S.E, Acting Deputy of Macroeconomy and Financial Coordinating Sector of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs; Irfan Setiaputra, CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA); David Hidayat, CEO of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO); Christian Kartawijaya, CEO of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP); and Nicolas Kanter, CEO of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM).

In this event, 43 out of 901 listed issuers on IDX are selected as awardee, coming from various categories, including agriculture, basic chemicals, heavy equipment, automotive spare parts, retail, real estate, telecommunication and infrastructure, banks, consumer products, coal mining, nickel, and other minerals.
