JAKARTA - Tempo-IDNFinancials awarded The Best CEO In Electronics and Lifestyle Retail to Budiarto Halim, Director of PT Era Jaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) for bringing the issuer's performance growth since the Covid-19 pandemic. At the plaque handover ceremony at the Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Bali at the end of last week (1/12), Hasan Aula, Deputy Director of ERAA representing Budiarto Halim received the award from Arif Zulkifli, President Director of PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk (TMPO).

Under his leadership, ERAA continues to expand its distribution network and increase the number of outlets throughout Indonesia. ERAA's revenue was recorded at IDR 49.47 trillion and profit IDR 1.07 trillion in 2022. Cellular telephone and tablet products contributed sales of IDR 38.66 trillion and operator products IDR 2.83 trillion, computers and other electronic equipment IDR 2.15 trillion, and accessories and others IDR 5.80 trillion.

Currently, ERAA operates 1,849 retail outlets with 95 distribution points, and 67,100 third-party resellers. This issuer's vertical businesses include, Erajaya Digital, Erajaya Lifestyle, Erajaya Beauty & Wellness, and Erajaya Food & Nourishment.

In the period 2020 to 2022, the issuer's total assets and equity grew significantly. In 2020, total assets were recorded at IDR 11.21 trillion, increasing to IDR 17.05 trillion in 2022. Total liabilities were IDR 5.52 trillion, increasing to IDR 9.85 trillion, and total equity was previously IDR 5.68 trillion and rose to IDR 7.20 trillion. (LK/LM)
