JAKARTA. CEO of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), Wijono Tanoko, is awarded the Best CEO in Specialty Chemical at TOP CEO Awards 2023 event held by Tempo-IDNFinancials last Friday (1/12) at Sofitel Nusa Dua, Bali.

The award is granted to Wijono Tanoko for his capability in maintaining AVIA’s business growth in industry sub-sector of chemicals. It was indicated through its net profit, which grew 5.6% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 1.14 trillion at the end of 9M 2023.

In addition, Tanoko managed to lead AVIA to become a publicly listed company on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at the end of 2021. Through this corporate action, the company secured additional capital of IDR 5.77 trillion following the issuance of 6.2 billion shares during its initial public offering (IPO).

According to IDNFinancials data, Wijono Tanoko began to take office as CEO of AVIA in 1996. As of now, he is currently instated as President Director of PT Avia Avian Industri Pipa, PT Multipro Paint Indonesia, PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna, PT Tirtakencana Batamindo, and PT Solusi Rumah Praktis.

Currently, AVIA’s stock price was seen at IDR 478 per share at 1.32 PM WIB. With market capitalisation worth IDR 30.23 trillion, the company soars to become an issuer in chemical industry sub-sector with the highest market cap in Indonesia. (KR/ZH)
