JAKARTA - Port Fraser International Ltd (PFI) and Levoca Enterprise Ltd (LE) step in as new shareholders of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) via private placement a couple of weeks ago (29/11). These new shareholders recorded 38.1% and 42.1% of total shares from the initial zero (0%).

In the information disclosure quoted today (11/120, Christofer Alexander Uktolseja, Corporate Secretary of BNBR, confirmed that the listing of new shareholders is a part of debt restructuring process of BNBR.

The company and PFI converted 46,352,744,597 shares for IDR 64 each. The transaction value of this mandatory debt conversion is IDR 2.46 trillion. Meanwhile, with LE, the company converted 51,231,980,870 shares for IDR 64 per share. The total transaction is worth IDR 3.27 trillion.

In October 2023, BNBR’s total shares were recorded at 22.08 billion, 11.18% of which went to controller, and non-controlling shareholders share the remaining 88.82%. Daley Capital owns 6.57%, followed by PT Biofuel Indo of 11.18%, Trimegah Sekuritas of 5.28%, Armansyah Yamin of 0.02%, RA Sri Dharmayan of 0.06%, and t public (scrip) of 2.84% and scripless of 73.05%.
