JAKARTA - On Thursday, December 7, foreign selling volume reached 3.46 billion shares, while foreign buying volume was at 2.92 billion shares. This share buying and selling activity by foreign investors resulted in a net foreign of -537.06 million shares. The coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) held the first spot on the top-selling list, with 125.49 million shares and a net volume of 96.71 million shares. Meanwhile, on the top buy list, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL) had the largest net volume at 22.76 million shares after approximately 34.08 million shares were purchased.

In the telecommunications sector, approximately 79.65 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) were bought, with a net volume of 20.73 million shares, followed by the purchase of 27.28 million shares of cinema chain company PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (CNMA), with a net volume of 19.63 million shares. With a share purchase volume of almost 20 million shares each, the net volume of the internet service provider company PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) is 12.76 million shares, and that of PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) in the renewable energy sector is 10.37 million shares.

Then, foreign investors sold 68.84 million shares of the energy infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), resulting in a net volume of -62.12 million shares. Shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), a household products retailer, were also sold for 88.30 million shares, with a net volume of -44.67 million shares. In addition, shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which works in the television broadcasting services industry, were sold for approximately 40.28 million shares, with a net volume of -39.02 million shares. Finally, while shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold for 1.44 billion, foreign investors also purchased 1.41 billion shares, resulting in a slight net volume of -32.32 million shares for GOTO.
