JAYA to add 12 new vehicles to meet year-end delivery demand
JAKARTA. PT Armada Berjaya Trans Tbk (JAYA), a vehicle provider for general goods shipping, has acquired 12 units of new Colt Diesel Double (CDD) trucks to accommodate the surge of delivery demand nearing the end of the year.
Darmawan Suryadi SM, President Director of JAYA, mentioned that this measure is an anticipatory measure to maintain its service quality nearing year-end. “These new vehicles will be added to the list of CDD Box, amounting to 45 units, owned by the company,” he added in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Suryadi then also said that these new vehicles will further increase revenue in the future. “The management believes that the strategy that has been implemented since the pandemic will generate positive result now and, in the future,” he added.
The amount of capital spent on these new vehicles is IDR 5.32 billion. The money is taken out of its capital expenditure budget.
For the record, these new trucks are acquired by JAYA from PT Rahardja Ekalancar. Suryadi said that the company is not affiliated with Rahardja Ekalancar. (KR/ZH)
