JAKARTA. PT Trimegah Bangun Perkasa Tbk (NCKL), a nickel ore mining company, has channelled a loan facility worth IDR 500 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Gane Tambang Sentosa (GTS).

Franssoka Y. Sumarwi, Legal Manager & Corporate Secretary of NCKL, said that the company and GTS signed a loan facility agreement on December 8, 2023. According to said agreement, GTS is granted a loan tenor of 5 years and an interest rate of 8% per annum.

"This facility agreement is intended to raise capital expenditure and fund routine operational activities of GTS," Sumarwi mentioned in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). 

According to IDNFinancials data, GTS is an entity recently acquired by NCKL last November. The investment put in by the company to acquire 99% of GTS amounted to IDR 7.92 billion. 

Initially, GTS was controlled by Harita Jayaraya. GTS possesses an active mining business license for nickels until the end of 2040. The concession of mine owned by GTS is located in South Halmahera with a total area of 2,314 hectares. (KR/ZH)
