JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares had a net volume of -1.30 million shares after foreign investors sold 2.45 billion shares on Friday, December 8. This figure represented approximately 41.50% of the total foreign sales volume of 4.19 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was only around 3 billion shares, so net foreign volume dropped to -1.19 billion shares.

The subsequent sale of shares was carried out at the television broadcasting company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) for 48.31 million shares with a net volume of -44.31 million shares. Shares of PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) in the property sector were also sold for roughly 42.21 million shares, with a net volume of -35.30 million shares, followed by the sale of 67.53 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) in the banking sector, with a net volume of -30.87 million shares. PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) shares in the marine and maritime services sector were then sold, resulting in a net volume of -22.04 million shares.

On the top buy list, foreign investors bought up the largest share in the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), around 112.37 million shares, with a net volume of 80.24 million shares. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) shares were purchased for 90.83 million shares, with a net volume of 55.19 million shares in the geothermal energy sector. Then, foreign investors were seen purchasing almost 50 million shares each of the internet service provider PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) and the petroleum exploration and production company PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC). This transaction resulted in a net volume of 41.82 million shares for INET and roughly 33.31 million shares for MEDC. Finally, for a net volume of 29.01 million shares, 38.35 million shares of general mining contractor business PT Darma Henwa Tbk were purchased. (KD)
