JAKARTA - On Tuesday, December 12, foreign investors sold 3.76 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in a net volume of -1.80 billion shares. Foreign selling volume nearly hit 6 billion shares at that point, or 5,92 billion to be exact, while foreign buying was only 3.84 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume stayed in the red zone at -2.07 billion shares.

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares, which operate in the coal mining sector, were also sold for around 167.48 million shares with a net volume of -63.92 million shares. Foreign investors then purchased 51.91 million shares of PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) in the fashion product retail industry and 53.69 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in mineral mining for a net volume of roughly -30 million shares apiece. Furthermore, about 84.36 million shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), a general mining services contractor, were sold, resulting in a net volume of -24.32 million shares.

On the other hand, approximately 129.97 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) were purchased, with a net volume of 74.76 million shares. Moreover, foreign investors bought 114.72 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) with a net volume of 18.11 million shares, followed by 34.38 million shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) with a net volume of 15.79 million shares. Shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) in the marine and maritime sector and PT Merdeka Battery Material Tbk (MBMA) in the electric car battery production business were both resulting in net volumes of 13–14 million shares, which came from the purchase of 17.57 million HUMI shares and 24.44 million MBMA shares.
