JAKARTA - PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) prepares for interim dividend distribution of USD 400 million for the fiscal year 2023 on January 12, 2024. For the fiscal year 2022, this issuer distributed interim dividend of USD 500 million.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (18/12), Mahardika Putranto, Corporate Secretary of ADRO, confirmed that this interim dividend distribution plan had been approved by the board of commissioners last week (14/12).

The interim dividend allocation is made based on the financial report as of September 2023, in which the profit was recorded at USD 1.21 million, retained earnings of USD 5.13 million, and total equity of USD 7.41 million.

The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set on December 28-29, followed by the cum and ex dividend in the cash market on January 2-3, 2024. Then, the dividend will be paid to those officially registered by January 2.

On January 13, 2023, ADRO reportedly paid out interim dividend for the fiscal year 2022, referring to its net profit of USD 1.90 billion, retained earnings of USD 4.31 billion, and total equity of USD 6.28 billion. (LK/ZH)
