JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) will pay out interim dividend of IDR 12.65 trillion for the fiscal year 2023 on January 18, 2024. The interim dividend of 2023 is almost equal to 50% of interim dividend of 2022.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (19/12), Agustya Hendy Bernadi, Corporate Secretary of BBRI, said that the total dividend is set to a maximum of IDR 12.73 trillion and a minimum of IDR 12.65 trillion, or IDR 84 per share. “It is made according to the decision of the board of directors, which had been approved by the board of commissioners last week (15/12),” he added.

Interim dividend payment refers to the financial report as of September 30, 2023, with a net profit of IDR 43.99 trillion, retained earnings of IDR 207.24 trillion, and total equity of IDR 311.53 trillion.

For the cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to December 29, 2023, and January 2, 2024. Meanwhile, the cum and ex dividend in the cash market will follow on January 3-4, 2023. The payment is based on the record of Official Register of Shareholders by January 3.

In 2022, this state-owned bank allocated interim dividend of a minimum of IDR 8.59 trillion and a maximum of IDR 8.63 billion, or IDR 57 per share, paid on January 27 2023. Its net profit in September 2022 was recorded at IDR 39.15 trillion, while its retained earnings reached IDR 194.73 trillion, and total equity clocked up to IDR 300.33 trillion. (LK/ZH)
