Foreign investors sold 218 million Bumi Resources (BUMI) shares; net foreign volume nearly reached -300 million shares
JAKARTA - On Tuesday, December 19, foreign investors sold the most shares of the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), totaling 218.36 million shares with a net volume of -169.68 million shares. This figure contributed to the concluding net foreign volume of -299.56 million shares, with a foreign selling volume of 2.40 billion shares and a buying volume of 2.10 billion shares.
The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the second largest share sale, with 698.80 million shares sold and a net volume of 103.46 million shares sold. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) shares in the mineral mining sector were also sold for approximately 77.64 million shares, with a net volume of -65.83 million shares. Shares of geothermal energy company PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) and general mining contractor services company PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were both sold for around 49 million shares. The sales of both resulted in net volumes of approximately -32 million each.
On the top buy list, 57.99 million shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased, resulting in a net volume of 50.17 million shares. A total of 43.04 million shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) in the household equipment retail sector were purchased, for a net volume of 30.40 million shares. Then, with a net volume of 26.73 million shares, about 71.33 million shares of the petrochemical and energy business PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were purchased. In the natural gas transmission and distribution sector, foreign investors bought 35.94 million shares and recorded a net volume of 16.63 million shares. Shares of the banking company PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) were the last shares purchased, namely around 79.44 million shares, with a net volume of 15.88 million shares. (KD)
