Divesting, UOB Kay Hian secures IDR 78.75 billion from BOLT
JAKARTA - UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd rakes in IDR 78.75 billion after divesting 112.5 million of its shares in PT Garuda Metalindo Tbk (BOLT) in a transaction held earlier this week (8/12). The divestment is valued at IDR 700 per share.
Based on the information disclosure quoted Friday (22/12), Erwin Wijaya, President Director of BOLT, confirmed that UOB’s portion is down 4.8% to 9.97%, equal to 233.69 million from the initial 364.19 million shares or 14.77% of BOLT’s listed shares of 2.34 billion.
The divestment is carried out by UOB as an investment realisation in BOLT. As of November 30, 2023, 80% of BOLT’s stock are owned by the controller, while non-controllers claim another 20%.
Until September 2023, BOLT’s sales were at IDR 1.13 trillion, resulting in gross profit of IDR 233.55 billion, operating profit of IDR 144.46 billion, and net profit of IDR 109.76 billion,
On December 18, 2023, BOLT’s closing price was seen at IDR 715 per share, recording the peak at IDR 875 and the lowest at IDR 615. The volume of traded shares reached 397,500 shares, recorded within 389 transactions worth IDR 306.18 million. (LK/ZH)
