Tokopedia’s co-founder sold 746.6 million of his shares in GOTO
JAKARTA - William Tanuwijaya, Co-Founder of Tokopedia, divests 764.6 million of his shares in PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) for IDR 91.7 each. The total transaction was worth IDR 70.11 billion, which lasted from last week until earlier this week (14-18/12).
In the information disclosure quoted today (22/12), R. A. Koesoemhadiani, Corporate Secretary of Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) confirmed that Tanuwijaya’s shares are down to 19.88 billion post-transactions from the initial 20.64 billion. “The number of series A shares directly owned by him is 7.29 billion, while his series B shares are 12.58 billion,” she added.
Tanuwijaya’s portion consists of 19.88 billion of series A and B shares, equal to 1.66%, down by 0.06% from 1.72% of total shares of 1.2 trillion. Approximately 5.75% of GOTO’s shares are now owned by controlling shareholders, while non-controllers claim the remaining 94.3%.
Today, GOTO’s shares are closed at IDR 86 per share. It peaked at IDR 90 per share and hit the lowest at IDR 86. The total volume of traded shares is recorded at 1.60 billion within 15,130 transactions worth IDR 140.20 billion. (LK/ZH)
