Waskita Toll Road injects subsidiary with IDR 1.29 billion of fresh funds
JAKARTA. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), has distributed a capital injection of IDR 1.29 billion to PT Waskita Bumi Wira (WBW).
This capital injection was given in order to increase WBW's total issued and paid-up capital, through the issuance of 1,293 new shares. All the new shares were taken up by WTR.
WSKT management said that the capital injection was given in order to meet WBW's funding needs. "With the increase in capital from WTR to WBW, it is hoped that it can maximize its business performance and is expected to provide added value for the company as a WTR shareholder," explained WSKT Management, in its official statement.
According to idnfinancials.com data, WBW is a subsidiary founded in 2014. WBW has the Krian-Legundi-Bunder-Manyar (KLBM) toll road concession since 2018 and is valid for 50 years.
After receiving capital injection from WTR, the nominal value of WBW shares increased to IDR 3.81 trillion. (KR/LM)
