JAKARTA - In line with previous trading days, net foreign volume on Friday, December 29, remained positive at roughly 58.35 million shares. This number reflects the foreign buying volume of 1.73 billion shares and the foreign selling volume of 1.67 million shares. The most acquired shares were 165.10 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), with a net volume of 43.04 million shares. Meanwhile, shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining business, were the most heavily traded, with a sales volume of 190.26 million shares and a net volume of -77.14 million shares.

Aside from that, foreign investors sold 124.39 million shares of the television broadcasting company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), resulting in a net volume of -96.43 million shares. PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA) shares in the property sector were then sold for 71.46 million shares, while only 29,200 shares were purchased, resulting in a net volume of -71.43 million shares. Shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), one of Indonesia's top coal producers, also sold for 49.33 million shares with a net volume of -36.02 million shares. Shares of the energy resources infrastructure business PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased for roughly 80 million shares each in the list of share purchase transactions. These transactions resulted in net volumes of 71.18 million shares for BIPI and 66.41 million shares for BUKA. Foreign investors then bought 71.68 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) for a net volume of 37.56 million shares in the banking sector.
