JAKARTA - PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA) is eyeing to raise IDR 4.01 trillion via rights issue of 26.74 billion series B shares of IDR 100 each. This corporate action is scheduled to take place in the next two weeks (15-19/1). 

In the prospectus quoted today (2/1), the ratio of share issuance is set to 100:226, meaning that each 100 old shares are entitled to gain 226 new series B shares. The offering price is also set to IDR 150 per share. 

Dato Sri Tahir, controlling shareholder of MAYA, owning 15.85 million series A shares or 0.13% of total issued and paid-up capital, as well as 551.42 million series B shares or 4.66% of total issued and paid-up capital, declares his willingness to exercise his rights over 1.28 billion shares. The fund source to exercise his rights does not come from loans.

The proceeds of this corporate action will be fully spent in business development, particularly credit channelling to potential debtors. (LK/ZH)
