Nanotech Indonesia takes over 51% of Cheria Halal Wisata
JAKARTA. PT Nanotech Indonesia Global Tbk (NANO) has acquired 51% of PT Cheria Halal Wisata from its own parent, PT Nanotech Investama Sedaya (NIS).
The number of shares of Cheria Halal Wisata purchased by NIS is 2,550 shares, paid for IDR 2.55 billion. “The financial report of PT Cheria Halal Wisata will be consolidated into the company,” added the management of NANO in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
For the record, Cheria Halal Wisata is a company engaged in the tourism activities and related services. It is a contrast compared to the core business line of NANO, which focuses in the body care product industry.
However, the management of NANO claimed that this acquisition will support the company’s business activities in the future.
As of June 30, 2023, NANO only recorded cash of IDR 3.51 billion. Its total assets were recorded at IDR 181.64 billion, while the total equity is IDR 181.64 billion.
According to IDNFinancials data, NIS is known as the controlling shareholder of NANO, owning 59.51% of the company. Meanwhile, PT Nanotech Riset Investama has another 10.50%, followed by public investors of 28.67%. the remainder is shared among directors and commissioners of the company. (KR/ZH)
