JAKARTA. PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS) has consolidated all of its water treatment activities to PT Lautan Air Indonesia (LAI), a subsidiary formerly called PT Pacinesia Chemical Industry.

Prior to this, this water treatment business line was handled solely by the company and several of its subsidiaries. “The impact of this event will be good for business and financial condition, as water treatment industry will be handled comprehensively by the management of LAI,” Keyne Fredella Kristanto, Corporate Secretary of LTLS, mentioned in the official disclosure.

After this consolidation, LTLS also builds a ne brand for LAI. With these changes, the water treatment industry is expected to grow and benefit more, “both to the company and sustainability living of Indonesia’s local communities, particularly in relation to basic needs, such as clean water,” Kristanto added.

According to IDNFinancials data, LTLS have granted extra capital worth IDR 6 billion for this water treatment business line. Said capital is channelled to PT Lautan Solusi Airindo (LSA).

“This capital raise is a form of support from PCI to LSA for its water treatment industry that has been carried out by LSA since 2019,” Kristanto mentioned. (KR/ZH)
