Two new investors acquire billions of new shares in Bank MNC Internasional (BABP)
JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP), an MNC Group banking com다pany, received two new investors at the same time on Thursday, January 4, with share acquisitions totaling billions of shares. PT MNC Land Tbk was seen purchasing 7.48 billion BABP shares, gaining 16.82% share ownership, while PT Global Mediacom Tbk purchased 3.21 billion BABP shares, resulting in a final ownership percentage of 7.23%. Both investors are part of the MNC Group as well.
Investors continued to buy shares in two palm oil companies: PT Putra Borneo Lestari purchased 1.44 million shares of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS), and PT Hijau Berkah Persada purchased 538,200 shares of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR). Apart from that, PT Sungai Budi also added 500,000 shares of cooking oil producer PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA) to its stock portfolio.
GOTO Peopleverse Fund then began a share sale list after selling 45.30 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). PT Inti Fikasa Sekuritas also sold 19.28 million shares in the development company PT Bekasi Asri Pemula Tbk (BAPA), leaving it with a 16.02% stake. In the MICE industry, Rina RA.H. Radinal Maksum, CEO of PT Dyandra Media International Tbk (DYAN), sold another 1.99 million DYAN shares. The last two share sales were carried out by foreign investors, namely JPMCB NA RE-Cathay Life Insurance Co Ltd, which sold 1.43 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA), and BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds, which sold 134,500 million shares of sanitary product distributor PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO).
