JAKARTA. PT Manulife Asset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI) and PT Bank HSBC Indonesia (HSBC) collaborate to launch and distribute the latest mutual fund products, Manulife Saham Syariah ESG Transisi Global Dolar AS (MAGET) Class A2 today (16/1).

As mentioned by Afifa, CEO and President Director of MAMI during the Press Conference of MAGET A2 Launch in Sudirman, Jakarta, MAGET A2 is a sharia mutual fund product in US dollar that primarily focuses on net-zero emission transition, thus involving a more extensive scope of investment.

“The portfolio of MAGET consists of several stocks of companies with focuses of low-carbon energy and transition-supporting materials. Resources supply, as well as efficiency and electrification, will also be our focus,” added Afifa.

MAMI, under Manulife Indonesia Group, is one of the biggest investment management companies in Indonesia, scoring assets under management (AUM) of IDR 102.4 trillion at the end of September 2023.

On the other side of this collaboration, PT HSBC Indonesia serves as the first distribution partner of MAGET A2. Other than MAGET A2, the partnership between MAMI and HSBC has been taking place since 2002. Until now, HSBC has been offering 13 mutual fund products of MAMI. (ZH)
