JAKARTA - Foreign buy volume decreased on Friday, January 19, with approximately 1.73 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors generated foreign sales of 1.86 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of -126.15 million. The consumer products retail business PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) had the highest number of shares sold, with 47.86 million and a net volume of -32.28 million shares.
Then, about 43.82 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in the mineral mining sector were sold, resulting in a net volume of -30.24 million shares. Shares of the banking business PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) were also sold for 35.23 million shares, for a net volume of -27.58 million shares, followed by the sale of 34.98 million shares of the natural deposits mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), for a net volume of -24.80 million. On the share purchase list, foreign investors bought up the most shares in the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), namely 73.18 million shares, resulting in a net volume of 42.28 million shares. 346.57 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and 37.28 million shares of the marine and maritime services company PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) were then purchased for a net volume of approximately 30 million shares each. Furthermore, foreign investors purchased 33.82 million shares of PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang Tbk (CGAS), resulting in a net volume of 29.88 million shares. The last share purchase was made in the local and international shipping businesses controlled by PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), totaling 65.08 million shares with a net volume of 24.94 million shares.
