JAKARTA - On Tuesday, January 23, foreign sales volume surged again, reaching around 2.25 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors' share purchases resulted in a foreign purchase volume of just 1.95 billion shares, resulting in net foreign shares of -300.89 million. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares remained the most sold by foreign investors, with around 403.42 million shares sold and a net volume of -111.75 million shares.

Aside from that, 95.70 million shares of the marine and maritime services business PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) were sold, for a net volume of -84.94 million shares. In the automotive, financial services, heavy equipment, mining & energy, agribusiness, information technology, infrastructure, and logistics industries, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) shares were sold for around 114.67 million shares with a net volume of -65.81 million shares. Shares of PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO), an integrated shrimp cultivation company, were then sold for 37.67 million shares, with a net volume of -32.63 million shares, followed by the sale of 101.56 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), with a net volume of -26.10 million.

In the renewable energy sector, foreign investors purchased 92.17 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), for a net volume of almost 75 million shares. Around 96.60 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were also purchased, for a net volume of 67.47 million. With a net volume of 20.17 million shares, 32.46 million shares of PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI), a consumer products retailer, were purchased. Shares of the household product-focused retail company, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), were later purchased for 36.91 million shares, for a net volume of 19.08 million. Finally, 62.77 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) were purchased in the banking sector, for a net volume of 17.24 million. (KD)
