JAKARTA - PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA) recorded profit growth of 25.34% year-on-year (yoy) to USD 43.85 million in 2023 from USD 34.98 million in 2022. This achievement is made possible thanks to its revenue growth, which primarily came from heavy equipment sales and rental services.

In 2023 Financial Report quoted today (31/1), Djonggi TP Gultom, President Director of HEXA, mentioned that the company booked revenue of USD 478.27 million, increasing from USD 410.3 million in 2022. Its gross and operating profit were also recorded growing to USD 107.49 million and USD 60.37 million from the initial USD 85.08 million and USD 46.60 million in 2022.

Heavy equipment sales and rental services reportedly generated USD 316.69 million, followed by spare part sales of USD 97.52 million, as well as repair and maintenance services of USD 64.05 million. From geographical perspective, the contribution of revenue from outside Java was USD 429.83 million, while Java Island itself turned in USD 48.43 million.

For comparison, in the same period in 2022, heavy equipment sales and rental services contributed USD 262.73 million, followed by spare part sales of USD 95.57 million, as well as repair and maintenance services of USD 52.04 million. Sales outside Java were recorded at USD 369.97 million, and Java Island’s sales were USD 40.38 million. (LK/ZH)
