JAKARTA - Foreign investors sold a significant amount of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk's (GOTO) shares on Monday, February 5, with a foreign sell volume of 1.44 billion shares and a net volume of -1.11 billion shares. This figure significantly boosted the foreign sales volume to around 2.74 billion shares. Meanwhile, the foreign buy volume was only 1.87 billion shares, bringing the net foreign volume to -873.82 million.

In addition to GOTO, foreign investors sold 69.64 million shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) in the marine and maritime services sector, for a net volume of -60.80 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the nickel, bauxite, and gold mining business PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) were sold for 51.71 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -37.83 million shares. The shares of the petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were then sold for 38.62 million shares with a net volume of -23.84 million shares, followed by the sale of 36.30 million shares of the automotive company PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) with a net volume of -16.24 million.

Meanwhile, in the renewable energy sector, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) had the greatest net volume of 95.02 million shares after foreign investors purchased 103.30 million shares. PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) had 125.50 million shares purchased in the banking sector, for a net volume of 83.92 million shares. Furthermore, 81.06 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping businesses owned by PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased, resulting in a net volume of 58.82 million shares. Around 46.10 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were also purchased, for a net volume of 40.42 million shares. Finally, with a net volume of 36.11 million shares, foreign investors acquired 62.20 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN). (KD)
