Net foreign hits another surplus at 1.03 billion shares
JAKARTA - Foreign net volume on Tuesday, February 13, hit another surplus of approximately 1.03 billion shares, as it had done in prior days. The foreign buying volume was 2.76 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 1.73 billion shares. Shares of the digital enterprise PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were still the most popular among foreign investors, with 686.32 million shares and a net volume of 231.71 million shares.
In the coal mining industry, around 210.74 million PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares were purchased, for a net transaction of 120.32 million shares. In addition, 130.97 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a domestic and overseas shipping services company, were purchased, for a net volume of 107.25 million. Purchase volumes of shares in energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were both in the 110 million share range, with BIPI's net volume at 100.51 million shares and OASA's at 96.32 million.
Furthermore, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) shares in the FMCG sector were the best-sellers, with 29.62 million sold and a net volume of -20.58 million. Shares of the shrimp processing company PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP) were also sold for approximately 18.82 million shares, for a net volume of -14.02 million shares, followed by the sale of 22.49 million shares of the metal ore mining company PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), for a net volume of -13.73 million shares. In the sea shipping and logistics services, PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML) shares were sold for 14.75 million, with a net volume of -12.46 million. Finally, foreign investors sold around 17 million shares of the health services business PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) for a net volume of -10.33 million shares. (KD)
