JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) managed to book net profit of IDR 2.5 trillion in 2023, 28.41% higher than 2022’s net profit of IDR 2.01 trillion. Meanwhile, the credits disbursed to the third party was IDR 130.27 trillion, 3.29% higher than IDR 126.55 trillion seen in 2022.

Based on the Financial Report of 2023 quoted Thursday (15/2), its net income (interest and sharia) reached IDR 9.61 trillion, 9.80% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 8.76 trillion, and the operating profit rose to IDR 1.95 trillion from IDR 1.80 trillion.

The interest and sharia income of BNLI came from disbursed credits of IDR 10.87 trillion, securities placed for investment of IDR 2.18 trillion, securities purchased with resale agreement of IDR 1.6 trillion, placements in Bank Indonesia and other banks of IDR 1.06 trillion, demand deposits in BI of IDR 94.57 billion, financial assets for trading of IDR 81.71 billion, acceptance receivables and trade finance of IDR 75.83 billion, and others of IDR 59.58 billion.

Throughout 2023, BNLI collected deposits from users in the form of current accounts of IDR 64.16 trillion, savings of IDR 39.32 trillion, term deposits of IDR 84.88 trillion. In 2022, savings in current accounts of IDR 71.57 trillion, savings of IDR 41.75 trillion, and term deposits of IDR 81.91 trillion. (LK/ZH)
