BDMN scores IDR 3.5 trillion in profit
JAKARTA - PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) printed a net profit of IDR 3.50 trillion throughout 2023, up 6.08% from the same period in 2022 of IDR 3.30 trillion. The increase in profit was in line with the growth in income from loan interest and finance leases.
In the 2023 Financial Report quoted on Monday (19/2), the issuer earned interest income of IDR 20.21 trillion, up 16.19% from IDR 17.39 trillion. Net interest income was IDR 15.21 trillion, up 7.76% from IDR 14.12 trillion.
Interest income from loans amounted to IDR 10.63 trillion, followed by consumer financing receivables of IDR 7.67 trillion, government bonds of IDR 925.78 billion, placements with other banks and Bank Indonesia (BI) of IDR 525.93 billion, and securities and other receivables of IDR 455.45 billion.
In the same period in 2023, interest income from loans was recorded at IDR 8.72 trillion, followed by consumer financing receivables at IDR 6.63 trillion, government bonds at IDR 1.09 trillion, placements with other banks and Bank Indonesia (BI) at IDR 262.38 billion, and marketable securities and other receivables at IDR 672.53 billion.
Total assets were recorded at IDR 221.30 trillion, up 11.92% from IDR 197.72 trillion and total liabilities at IDR 171.34 trillion, up 14.03% from IDR 150.25 trillion. (LK/LM)
