JAKARTA - The securities company PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk acquired up to 1,225,000,000 shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) on Thursday, February 15. Trimegah Sekuritas saw an increase in share percentage from 7.86% to 12.8% as a result of this outstanding number of shares, which equates to 4.94% ownership. However, PT Bakrie Kalila Investment sold the same amount of shares, resulting in a decrease in its ownership from 40.61% to 35.67% of this issuer of oil and gas exploration and trading.

Significant volumes of shares of the property development company PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN) were also traded on the market. By acquiring 565.42 million shares, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk raised its ownership from 12.6% to 17.11%. However, PT Honoris Corporindo Pratama actually sold an equal number of shares, leaving them with an 8.51% final ownership stake.

Additionally, 4.25 million shares in the tourism issuer PT Bayu Buana Tbk (BAYU) and 3.92 million shares in the restaurant issuer PT Pioneerindo Gourmet International Tbk (PTSP) were purchased by Union Bancaire Privee, UBP SA Singapore Branch. The BUT Standard Chartered Bank handled both of the transactions. In addition, PT Global Mediacom Tbk purchased 93.03 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), its subsidiary that works in the media industry.

On the other hand, 23.95 million shares of technology company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold by foreign investor GOTO Peopleverse Fund. Then, Citibank Singapore S/S Government of Singapore bought 3.38 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), a telecommunications infrastructure provider. Ultimately, 3.31 million shares of PT Akbar IndoMakmur Stimec Tbk (AIMS), a coal trading company, were sold by PT Aims Indo Investama. (KD)
