JAKARTA. PT IMG Sejahtera Langgeng (IMGSL), a subsidiary of PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS), has signed a strategic partnership agreement with PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR).

CR Susilowasti, Corporate Secretary of IMAS, said that the collaboration will include enhancement of electric vehicle (EV) innovation. Furthermore, both companies will then expedite EV adoption in Indonesia.

“It is to provide an environmentally friendly transportation solution and accelerate electrification in commercial vehicle segment in Indonesia,” added Susilowasti in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Not only that, Susilowasti claimed that this partnership will positively affect Indomobil Group’s business performance, as it will form a strategic partnership with a third aprty.

According to IDNFinancials data, VKTR is a company engaged in the EV industry. It is under the control of Bakrie Group through PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) and PT Bakrie Metal Industries.

Meanwhile, IMAS is under Salim Group through Gallant Venture Ltd. (KR/ZH)
