AALI’s profit dropped 38.84%
JAKARTA – The performance of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) weakened in 2023 compared to 2022. Throughout last year, decreases in revenue and net profit reaced 4.96% and 38.84% year-on-year (yoy).
Based on the Financial Report of 2023 quoted today (23/2), the net profit attributable to the parent company was recorded at IDR 1.05 trillion, down from IDR 1.72 trillion in 2022. The profit attributable to non-controllers also shrank from IDR 65.44 billion to IDR 32.27 billion.
Profit slippage was triggered by a decrease in the net revenue throughout 2023. The company scored revenue of IDR 20.74 trillion, down from IDR 21.82 trillion, while the gross profit dropped from IDR 3.82 trillion to IDR 2.77 trillion.
Crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives’ sales clocked up to IDR 19.22 trillion, while sales of palm kernel and its derivatives amounted to IDR 1.50 trillion, and others reached IDR 21.72 billion. In 2022, CPO and derivatives’ sales were IDR 19.62 trillion, followed by palm kernel and derivatives of IDR 2.18 trillion, and others of IDR 21.48 billion. (LK/ZH)
