PCC rules Judicial Release in favour of GIHF
JAKARTA - Paris Commercial Court (PCC) has ruled on the Judicial Release in favour of Garuda Indonesia Holiday France S.AS (GIHF) for the appeal submitted by Greylag Goose Leasing 1410 and 1446 Designated Activity Company (Greylag Entities).
In the press release quoted today (27/2), Tumpal M. Hutapea, Acting President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), confirmed that the Paris Court of Appeal has ruled on the Judicial Release Decision in favour of GIHF last week (22/2). “The Court also ordered Greylag Entities to pay costs to GIHF,” added Hutapea.
According to the judgment at first instance and the appeal, Greylag Entities is also said to owe GIHF EUR 80,000, which is equal to IDR 1.35 billion, assuming the EUR 1 is worth IDR 16,990.
For the record, on April 19, 2023, Greylag Entities appealed the Judgment issued by PCC on February 9, 2023, which ruled in favour of GIHF in Judicial Release case.
Judicial Release is a legal step taken by GIHF back in 2022 in regard to the provisional attachment filed by Greylag Entities toward GIHF’s bank account. (LK/ZH)
