Bakrie Kalila Investment released 721 million shares of Energi Mega (ENRG), reducing its stake to 32%
JAKARTA - PT Bakrie Kalila Investment released its ownership of 721.15 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), an issuer involved in the exploration and trading of oil and gas, on Friday, February 23. PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk and PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia were the two securities companies used in the share sale, which resulted in an instant decrease in Bakrie Kalila's ownership percentage from 35.67% to 32.76%.
Additionally, PT Global Mediacom Tbk sold 27 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), a media company, and individual investor Sendra Gunawan sold 20 million shares of PT Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk (AHAP), a general conventional insurance issuer. From the foreign investors, GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 8.16 million shares of technology issuer PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore released 3.02 million shares of telecommunications infrastructure provider PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL).
Apart from divesting shares, large new investors are also observed purchasing shares in this market hint list. First, through PT Binaartha Sekuritas Securities, Amir Sunarko recently purchased 273.62 million, or roughly 5.06% of the shares of PT SLJ Global Tbk (SULI). SULI shares are involved in the timbre and forestry industries. Subsequently, an investor named Robin acquired 170.18 million shares of PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM), gaining a final ownership stake of 5.02% in this hospital management company. Two securities—PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk and PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia—were used to conduct Robin’s stock acquisition.
PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS), which operates department stores and supermarkets, was also observed buying back shares; this time, 3.88 million shares. Individual investor Fathi also added 3.59 million shares of heavy construction and civil engineering company PT Koka Indonesia Tbk (KOKA) to his holdings, while the controlling shareholder of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), PT Bogamulia Nagadi, increased its stake in this pharmaceutical company, as many as 572,200 shares to be exact.
