JAKARTA – The revenue of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) grew 4.02% year-on-year (yoy), but the profit slowed down 3.75% yoy throughout 2023. The company reported current year’s net profit of IDR 22.13 trillion, slipping from IDR 22.99 trillion.

In the 2023 Financial Report quoted today (27/2), the company’s revenue was reported at IDR 128.58 trillion, increasing from IDR 123.60 trillion seen in 2022. The revenue from goods’ sales reportedly clocked up to IDR 67.63 trillion, while service segment brought in IDR 60.94 trillion.

Goods’ sales include construction machine of IDR 31.66 trillion, coal mining of IDR 16.55 trillion, gold and other mineral mining of IDR 5.22 trillion, construction industry of IDR 48.39 billion, and energy of IDR 85 million. Service income comes from construction industry of IDR 998.46 billion, construction machine of IDR 52.64 billion, energy of IDR 3.36 billion, mining contractor of IDR 53.97 trillion, construction machine (third-party) of IDR 4.72 trillion, construction industry of IDR 1.19 trillion, and energy of IDR 3.78 billion.

The gross profit was seen at IDR 35.78 trillion, still higher than IDR 34.75 trillion recorded in 2022 despite increase in its costs of sales. Then, its profit before taxes in 2023 shrank to IDR 28.72 trillion from IDR 29.44 trillion in 2022. (LK/ZH)
