JAKARTA - PT Surya Sapta Agung Tol (SSAT), a subsidiary of PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), officially becomes the Business Operational Unit for Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road for the next 50 years. The business unit agreement was signed by the company and the Ministry of Public Works yesterday (27/2).

In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (28/2), Heru Budiman, Director of GGRM, mentioned that the business unit arrangement and the security agreement were granted after the company is crowned the winner of the tender of operational business unit of Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road on December 23, 2023.

“The decision to inaugurate SST as Business Operational Unit for Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road refers to the Letter of the Company dated February 13, 2024,” Budiman said.

In addition to 50-years partnership contract, the security agreement was made between SSAT and PT Penjamin Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII), effective for 15 years after commercial operation date. (LK/ZH)
