JAKARTA - On Tuesday, February 27, PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia decided to purchase new shares from two different issuers. At first, this investor purchased 161.37 million shares of the cosmetics and home appliances manufacturer PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO). It gained control of 6.33% of the company through purchases conducted by three securities firms. Additionally, this investor purchased 62.18 million shares, or 6.22% control, in PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a consulting services provider for the mining and energy industries. This transaction was carried out via four distinct securities firms.

Then, PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS), the operator of department stores and supermarkets, was once again observed buying back shares—this time for 3.95 million shares. Additionally, 1.24 million shares of fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) were purchased by PT Arthakencana Rayatama. Also, controlling shareholder Low Tuck Kwong expanded his portfolio by adding 27,700 shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), a coal company.

The next update came from Prajogo Pangestu, another individual investor, who announced the sale of 1.5 billion shares of the petrochemical company PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA). His ownership decreased from 7.79% to 6.05% as a result. PT Bakrie Kalila Investment also engaged in high-volume share sales, selling 730 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), an oil and gas exploration and trading company, reducing its ownership stake from 32.76% to 29.82%.

Aside from that, individual investor Sendra Gunawan was still selling up to 14.5 million shares of PT Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk (AHAP), a company in the loss insurance industry. Following this deal, GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 7.76 million shares of the technology-based digital ecosystem company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore sold 4.83 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), a provider of telecommunications infrastructure.
