HEAL to increase capex by 67%, mostly allocated to hospital expansion
JAKARTA. PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the managing company of Hermina hospital network, is allocating capital expenditure (capex) of approximately IDR 2 trillion for 2024. This budget is 67% higher than last year’s allocation, which reached IDR 1.2 trillion.
Yulisar Khiat, Director of Finance of HEAL, mentioned that this year’s capex will be allocated for new hospital expansion, as well as capacity increase. The target, Khiat said, is that the company will establish 5 new hospitals.
“With this addition, in 2024, the company aims to own a network of 52 hospitals across Indonesia,” Khiat stated.
The locations of the hospitals that will be built by HEAL this year include Pasuruan, Madiun, Nusantara Capital City (IKN), Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, and Pekanbaru. The allocated budget for the hospital in IKN is set to approximately IDR 650 billion, while the other 4 will have a budget of IDR 400 to IDR 500 billion.
With this new hospital, as well as increased capacity of existing ones, HEAL aims to secure revenue growth of 16.8% from the revenue in 2023. For the record, the annual revenue of HEAL for the period of 2023 is still under auditing process. (KR/ZH)
