ROTI’s net profit down arrived at IDR 333.29 billion, down 22.88%
JAKARTA – The performance of PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk (ROTI) declined in 2023, sporting revenue and profit decrease of 2.92% and 22.88% year-on-year (yoy) each.
In the Financial Report of 2023 quoted today (1/3), the issuer attributed the net profit to parent entity of IDR 333.29 billion, slipping from IDR 432.22 billion in 2022. The numbers resulted from decreased revenue and swollen expenses, primarily from financial expenses and losses from joint ventures.
ROTI reported revenue of IDR 3.82 trillion, down from IDR 3.93 trillion, followed by gross profit shrinkage from IDR 2.08 trillion to IDR 2.06 trillion. The primary contributor of revenue was white bread sales, of IDR 2.64 trillion, followed by sweet bread sales of IDR 1.54 trillion, cakes of IDR 338.30 billion, and others of IDR 37.11 billion.
In 2022, white bread sales generated sales of IDR 2.65 trillion, sweet bread IDR 1.45 trillion, cakes IDR 299.01 billion, and others IDR 29.38 billion.
By market, western part of Indonesia contributed sales of IDR 564.82 billion, central part of Indonesia IDR 2.09 trillion, and eastern part of Indonesia IDR 1.16 trillion. In 2022, sales in western Indonesia reached IDR 581.94 billion, central Indonesia IDR 2.19 trillion, and western Indonesia IDR 1.16 trillion. (LK/ZH)
