JAKARTA. PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), the developer of Jababeka industrial zone, has introduced Movieland catalogue, featuring 30 movie shooting locations to accommodate the needs of film and television industry in Indonesia.

Setyono Djuandi Darmono, Founder and Chairman of KIJA, mentioned that said Movieland catalogue launch shows the company’s commitment in its participation to support the movie and TV industry in Indonesia. “In addition, this catalogue launch proves that all kinds of shooting locations, for movie, series, and various television programmes, have been provided in Jababeka Movieland,” Darmono added in the official statement.

With this catalogue, Darmono said, the film and TV industry workers have more varied and economical options to carry out their movie or TV programme productions. Moreover, he added, Jababeka Movieland developed by the company has been accommodated with crews.

Meanwhile, Eric Gunawan, Coordinator of Jababeka Movieland, said that the full range of facility and accommodation offered in this set may allow movie or TV program production cost efficiency. “Even by up to 50%,” he said.

According to IDNFinancials data, Jababeka Movieland was inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, in July 2023. This location has a total area of 35 hectares, built since August 2008. (KR/ZH)
