JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) booked revenue of IDR 21.31 trillion in 2023, soaring 299.36% from IDR 16.58 trillion seen in the same period in 2022. This upturn allowed the net profit skyrocketing by 147.37% year-on-year (yoy).

Based on its Financial Report of 2023 quoted Monday (4/3), this issuer reported net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 6.79 trillion, proliferating from IDR 2.74 trillion in 2022.

The dominating component of the revenue was toll routes of IDR 13.94 trillion, increasing from IDR 12.44 trillion. Other operating revenue also moved up from IDR 1.33 trillion to IDR 1.61 trillion, while construction revenue grew from IDR 2.80 trillion to IDR 5.75 trillion.

In addition to increased revenue, profit growth was also affected by gains of fair value of association investment of IDR 4.01 trillion, as well as purchase with discounts of IDR 1.05 trillion. In 2022, JSMR did not record any gains or sales from both posts.

Gross and operating profit of JSMR were recorded at IDR 8.95 trillion and IDR 11.31 trillion each. While in 2022, the gross and operating profit were seen at IDR 7.41 trillion and IDR 7.38 trillion. (LK/ZH)
