BRI to distribute remaining dividend IDR 35.43 trillion
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) will channel out the remaining amount of final dividend for the fiscal year 2023 of IDR 35.43 trillion. Prior to this, the bank had distributed interim dividend of IDR 12.66 trillion or IDR 84 per share on January 18.
Quoting the minutes of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) 2023 today (5/3), Agustya Hendy Bernadi, Corporate Secretary of BBRI, confirmed that the cash dividend for the fiscal year 2023 has been set to IDR 48.28 trillion or IDR 319 per share.
The dividend was made referring to the record of net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 60.09 trillion, unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 11.97 trillion, and total equity of IDR 316.47 trillion.
The cash dividend payment is set to March 28, according to the Official Register of Shareholders by the recording date on March 15. The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market has been scheduled on March 13-14, followed by the cash market on March 15 and 18.
The 2023 dividend was 10.59% higher than the dividend allocated to shareholders by BBRI in 2022 of IDR 43.49 trillion or IDR 288.23 per share. The 2022 dividend also included interim dividend of IDR 8.60 trillion or IDR 57 per share and cash dividend paid to listed shareholders of IDR 34.89 trillion or IDR 231.22 per share. (LK/ZH)
