GPF sells over a billion shares of GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO)
JAKARTA - While shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) are regularly sold by GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on Monday, March 4, this investor sold an incredible quantity of shares. Its ownership dropped from 5.28% to 5.19% as a result of releasing more than 1.05 billion GOTO shares.
The total volumes of share sales transactions recorded after GOTO were then significantly lower. PT Hillcon Equity Management released about 10.37 million shares of nickel mining contractor issuer PT Hillcon Tbk (HILL), and Sendra Gunawan sold 9 million shares of PT Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk (AHAP), a company that engages in conventional insurance. Subsequently, the foreign investor Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore proceeded to sell 4.62 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), a provider of telecommunications infrastructure. BBH Luxembourg S/S Fidelity Funds also sold 2.37 million shares of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA), a manufacturer of ceramic tiles.
However, PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO), a company that makes chocolate products, saw 244.65 million shares purchased by Mahogany Global Investment Pte Ltd., another foreign investor. Next, four million shares of Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), a company that produces renewable energy, were purchased by Zurich Assets International Ltd. PT Asia Intrainvesta, a domestic investor, also purchased 46.28 million shares of PT Hassana Boga Sejahtera Tbk (NAYZ), a manufacturer of baby food. In the oil and gas exploration and trading sector, PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk also purchased 25.74 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG). Lastly, PT Trukindo Persada Sejahtera purchased 4.60 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a consulting firm for the mining and energy sectors. (KD)
