JAKARTA - Foreign investors increased their share sale transactions on Tuesday, March 5, resulting in a foreign sell volume of 3.46 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buy volume totaled only 3.13 billion shares, bringing the net foreign volume to -331.52 million. The largest share transaction was made with the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), totaling 1.15 billion shares with a net volume of -193.72 million.

Furthermore, shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were sold for 409.03 million shares, with a net volume of -311.89 million. Around 255.07 million shares of the electric vehicle distributor company PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) were also sold, with a net volume of -82.48 million shares. This was followed by the sale of 88.52 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB), with a net volume of -77.07 million. Then, shares of the petrochemical and energy business PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were sold for 46.95 million shares, with a net volume of -33.28 million shares.

On the top buy list, shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the greatest purchase volume and net volume, with 314 million shares and 244.71 million shares, respectively. PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) shares in the aerosol services sector were then purchased for 83.28 million, for a net volume of 83.13 million shares. In addition, 41.43 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a mining and energy sector consultancy services firm, were purchased, for a net volume of 40.71 million shares. In the mineral mining industry, foreign investors bought 84.28 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), resulting in a net volume of 30.94 million shares. Finally, 46.31 million shares of multimedia services company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were purchased, for a net volume of 28.42 million shares. (KD)
